[Chris Cable sits in a lounge chair with nothing around him except the bricked wall behind him. He sits forward leaning on his knees and he looks towards the ground before raising his head and acknowledging the camera]
Cable: The last time I sat here I was telling the world I was going to win the world title. I told Trey Baxter than he would be left a shell of a man after I elbowed him in the face and gained the world title around my waist. Yes what I said maybe didn't come true but things are becoming a reality. Now after getting so close to pinning Trey Baxter's shoulders to the mat for the 3 count I now have the opportunity to put away the man that runs this whole damn show down for good. Do you remember our match all the way at the start of MPW mr Johnny Clash? It was a first blood match and the underdog, a guy who had never held anything more than a couple of tag titles beat the last ever NYCCW world heavyweight champion. That match catapulted me to the where I am today.
1 year on and look where we are, I have now gone out on my own and are climbing once again to be the best in this business. So what do I need to do, what does Chris Cable need to do to become the best, to once again get a shot at the belt of Trey Baxter. Well I can literally just like with the Age of Arrogance bring this company and the rest of wrestling world to its knees. Make the world realise that not even the people in the most high up places can be safe from C Double. After I sweep the floor with Johnny Clash I can then take out whoever I want when I want because the leader and the guy that makes all the rules will be gone......but Cable what about old man Herman? Well Bob Herman can kiss my ass because for a long time now I have been known to bend the rules for how I like and that will continue when I take out this little gay parade of leaders we have here in MPW.
Now though I guess what's left to talk about is Johnny Clash himself. The man that because he has a nice flashy title under his name on a big door somewhere thinks that he can interrupt me when I am delivering per usual a speech that keeps every fan of MPW on the edge of their seats. He thinks that the X-Core title is 'his' property but I can tell you now Mr Clash that everything that you think is yours will be taken away from you. Nothing is safe from Chris Cable and our little scruffles at ringside and brawls in the back are just a segment of what I am going to do to you in a match that well I have now made myself accustomed to. Maybe not the name itself but as a lot of people would know, I am the last MPW X-Core champion of all time and made a name for myself in recent weeks taking on the likes of Kuk Killswitch and Shaun Cross and beating them both in the most extreme of matches. Johnny you have taken on the best of wrestlers but now you are into a new fight against a guy that wont lie down as easy as others you have faced!
[Cable sits back in the chair momentarily and pulls out of his jumper pocket an orange which he grasps in his hands]
This here is I guess similiar to our match Johnny. This orange I hold in my hand is like you in some ways. At first you will come out swinging and protect yourself from the barrage of attack I will lay upon you. You will be fighting until I take that layer off and you are left with nothing to protect you except the flesh and bones on you, then taking you out will be as easy as smashing this thing against the floor.
[Cable throws the orange and it splatters against the wall behind him]
Jee I wish all my wrestling matches were that easy. But hey at least there's something you can say Johnny! You can say how that Australian you like to joke about whipped your ass!
[Cable gives a smirk as he sits back in the chair for a second before leaning forth once more and with a serious tone now across his face]
This match Johnny is pretty important isn't it? You get to take on the guy that wants to put you down like the dog you are and I want to prove something to the whole world. As I said when I faced you in the ring, things have changed after Uprising, people have left and one of the most dominant groups in Professional Wrestling called the Age of Arrogance turned out to be some fraud to get Drake Hunter to the top and keep him there. When he was there you tried to capture a world title and at one point worked with us, what did we do Johnny? What did you and I do during that time? The answer is jack shit because I sat there and watched you do all the high and mighty stuff. Now though he is gone and you and I are left.
[Cable now gets up from his chair and the camera rises with him, he goes closer to the camera and gets right in the lens]
Now it's time to show you Johnny that what you think you are is nothing, what you think is wrestling skill is nothing but a couple of moves a new guy to business learns on a Sunday afternoon. Now's the chance to strike and I am going to end what ever hope you had of shuting me up and sending me on my way.
