This Thursday at Ruthless Assault what happens is that once again the Age of Arrogance dominates. Look at all the matches, look we is in them. Drake Hunter vs Bliss for the world title, The team of myself and Andre Dixon coming up against the team of Trey Baxter and a potato of his choice and then the main event, the big one with Kuk Killswitch the man in form, a guy that has held the X-Core title for the same amount of time as Andre and I have held the tag titles against Chris Cable, need i say more.
This match is going to be huge, we all know the stakes in which are undertaken in this match, we both know the risks of how this match can shorten the careers of both of us. But at the end of the day whoever climbs that ladder and retrieves that X-Core title is rewarded with something much grander, all that pain and suffering goes out the window and the only thing that will consume your body is the emotion of walking out with a title in hand knowing you have been the better man on the day, knowing that you were the one to leave it all there and for it all to pay off.
The reward is there now.......who is going to take it?

[The camera turns on to a beach where the water is flowing in, as the camera pans left Chris Cable back facing the camera is looking at the sea. He is wearing jeans and his T-Shirt. Cable turns around in a serious manner looking straight at the camera]
Cable: This right here is what it's all about, the sand on which I stand represents a whole lot to me. You are all probably wondering what the hell am I doing on some beach while in a short amount of time the fight between Kuk Killswitch and Chris Cable takes place. Well I am standing on this sand because where I am right now is Cable Beach, Western Australia. Yeah this place shares the exact name as I do and dahm is it as sexy as me.
[Cable grins to himself before grasping his hands together and looking at the surrounding environment]
Cable: The reason why I am here is because when someone is covered in success, when they stand on the top of mountain for everybody to see they are given the love by millions of people, they have temple built for them they have great big buildings with your name written all over.
Well what happens this Thursday is that I have the opportunity to do something no one has ever done in this company, to hold the X-Core title and the Tag Team Championships at the same time. When I was announced for that tournament I told everybody that I would take this opportunity and run with it, that I told everybody to bring on the extreme and looked what happened. What happened was that C Double beat every single person in his path, I brought everything and when that happens not many people can stop me and that was evident the entire way through the tournament.
Now though what I want is the X-Core championship and now that I will go to all lengths to get that title people will fear me in my wake. Kuk I know you wont be one of those people, you do not fear anyone and anything I know this. I know that you trained in Japan, that you started at the bottom on a trampoline and now you are the MPW X-Core champ. I did the same thing Kuk the only difference is that I don't hold that X-Core championship but that my friend is going to change!
To any other man Kuk I would tell them to fear the elbow, to fear me flattening there faces to the ground with one swift knock to the jawbone to put them out forever but you are not normal Kuk, because as much as you say to bring my elbow I tell you to bring the Ode to Violence, bring the Kukky Klutch because nothing can keep me down, even a ladder! Because when that final bell rings the followers will begin, the C Double lovers will come out in numbers and just like this beach so many other things will be named after THE Chris Cable!!
[After Cable says this he puts his hands over his face for a second before cocking his head back taking in the breeze]
So....What do the people think? What do the people who line up every week to get into the best wrestling in the world think of Chris Cable and his Ruthless Assault campaign to hold 2 titles at the end of the night. These people ask me "Wont your career be shortened? Wont the AoA collapse by the end of the night? How will you fare in Kuk's playground?
Well that's simple, just as Kuk said the AoA is out the window for that one night, we both want the gold and I know just as much as Kuk that we will go to the limit against each other. With these limits of cause comes the risk, every time we step in that ring our life is on the line, this match is no different. In this match it will be the complete opposite to this beach, it will not be serenity and peace, it will be a match in the mouth of Satan himself with Kuk and I playing with fire.
Now what for the AoA that night at Ruthless Assault, so many matches and guess who are in every single one? This is a message isn't it to all you crack farmers who believe that arrogance isn't the way? For every big match in this company the Age of Arrogance are there because we are the most dominant force in wrestling, nothing can stop us as we enter another week of wrestling with our names written in the big lights. This week the group is bigger than the person, we go in against each other and everybody walks out title or not still together because the AoA are not a band of hobos like the New Gen Superstars, we are not the Brady Bunch like the Varasity, we are the Age of Arrogance and we are the best in pro wrestling!
So at Ruthless Assault this beach like among many things will be named after the man who i'm afraid Kuk will knock you out cold in Chris Cable as people bow to the man who will hold not one but two titles at once. After I climb that ladder i will be your X-Core champion I will be THE x-core champion......
AND THAT IS THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO CHRIS CABLE!!!

[Walking around an apartment alone I thought was my dream, I thought that being the bachelor of Boston that it would be my dream, then though Bliss came into the life of Drake, she made him something of more of a man. He became something that I didn't even know. That's why when Sophie came into my life I felt like the same thing happened to me, like all those things about being single just went away and now she was here. Looking for company seemed to be something I always found in the face of a VB or my mates but now she gave another dimension to me life, as I think about all of this she sits on the couch all ready for us to watch some of the old Indiana Jones films]
Cable: Hey Sophs you want some tea, I got some cooking
[She looks up smiling from the glittering TV bouncing off her face]
Sophie: Nah, forget about the tea let's get this started we don't have all night....remember I had that other thing I wanted to do with you
[I gulp as I turn the kettle off before grabbing the popcorn off the bench and rushing to the couch to sit beside my girlfriend, as the signature music begins to play I take her into my arms]
Cable: You know I got a funny story about a guy who thought we was Indiana Jones...
Sophie: Really? This guys sounds like a complete nutter!
Cable: Well let's just say I think he celebrated 4 20 a little to early.
[Sophie giggles for a second before grabbing me by the hand]
Cable: What's wrong?
Sophie: I'm worried about you in that ladder match....
[I let of a sigh before pausing the movie and making Sophie sit upright]
Cable: Sophie look at me, I go through this sought of thing every week ok, what's going to happen is that yer ok I might get hurt but it wont do anything to me permanently, I've done this stuff before so you don't have to worry ok?
[Sophie just looks down]
Cable: Hey if you keep looking down you might be caught by Drake Hunter, he sleeps beneath the ground waiting for little girls to go past before he drags them back to his glee cave
[Sophie laughs as she finally looks up again]
Sophie: Why do you make so much fun of him? He seems pretty nice to you...
Cable: Well you see, let's just say it brings a lot of joy to me....a lot.....anyway let's get back to Indiana Baxter.....I mean Jones....
[I pick up the remote again pressing the play button before reaching to the table to grab the VB bottle. The girl in one hand and the VB in the other, life is sweet....]

Cable: Hey Drake where the hell is my pie? I left it up on the table and now it's not there
[I look down to Drake who looks up from the paper in surprise]
Drake: Ehhhhh let's just say it was a good pie?
[I just shake my head as I reach to him]
Cable: Alright then you owe me a fiver mate, that shit wasn't cheap!
[Drake drops the paper and looks at me startled]
Drake: You want money? How many times have I shouted you a drink at the Pub? Not only that what about all those train tickets I bought! And don't forget the bloody pizza..
Cable: Ok maybe you don't owe me anything but next time you steal my food I am going to tell everybody about how you don't have a penis...
Drake: Oh for fucks sake Chris......for one I do have a penis and you've already told that to them you bastard!
Cable: Ok...just don't take my pie.
[Drake sits back on his chair once again and lifts the paper, next thing we know theres a knock at the door as Drake motions to me]
Drake: Go check that out, I got some reading to catch up on....
Cable : There isn't anything under than magizine is there Mr. Hunter...
[Drake lifts his head up in frustration.....]
Drake: Just go answer the door you twat!
[I go to the door and open it slightly to see TIm Bowers on the other side of the door[
Tim: Hi Chris, Jay's not well today and there asking me to do an interview with someone and I thought you would be the best for one...is Drake around so we could have an AoA interview?
Cable: Well I'm sure Drake can answer all the questions you want...
[I look behind me to see Drake missing from his seat and the noice of a closet closing softly, I turn back to Bowers who is waiting eagerly at the door]
Cable: It seems that Drake Hunter has taken the time to go listen to some Ricky Martin so if I say no to an interview now will you come back later and just hassle me again?
[Bowers looks around before slightly nodding]
Cable: Jee your a piece of work Bowers, ok fine let's get this out of the way so I can go drink my beer in peace
Bowers: Thanks a lot Cable, hey Nick, Chris said yes, so get over here
[Seconds later a cameraman runs to the doorway of the AoA lockeroom and Tim quickly gets set up and ready for the interview]
Tim Bowers: Hello MPW I am here with outside Chris Cable's locker with the man himself who will face Trey Baxter and a mystery partner in a tag team title match and of course the main event of Ruthless Assault in a X-Core ladder match for the title that Kuk holds at this current time.
First question Chris, will fatigue be a factor heading into two big matches at Ruthless Assault, will the body be able to handle such a challenge?
Cable: Well Bowers you see I am not your usual home grown wrestler. I along with probably a lot of the other wrestlers in the back are prepared for all sorts of challenges and yes that includes wrestling multiple times, putting your body on the line and coming out of the matches will cuts and bruises. I am wary of this and I know that I probably will be very saw by the end of it all but all that pain will not match the success of winning at Ruthless Assault.
Tim Bowers: In the X-Core main event you will be taking on Kuk as we all know, is there an element of fear at the thought of what Kuk can and has done to a lot of opponents with weapons including ladders?
Cable: I am fully aware of the dangers stepping into the ring with Kuk, there is a reason why he is the X-Core champion but there is no fear, absolutely no fear will come over me because I have stepped in that ring to many times and nearly ended my career to fear to entering Ruthless Assault and fearing the dangerous Kuk Killswitch.
Tim Bowers: On the card as well is the match of Drake Hunter vs Bliss for the world title, do you have a prediction for this match?
[Cable thinks for a second brushing his beard at the same time]
Cable: Jees you people want my thoughts on this match, if you knobs haven't heard me already both Drake and Bliss are great wrestlers, I guess that's why they are in a match for the most prestigious title in MPW and more importantly in the entire world of pro wrestling. No matter what happens if it either Drake or Bliss who wins the title, the world title stays in the AoA and of course by the end of it we still have this company by the balls!
Tim Bowers: Furthermore also on the card is the TV title match with AJ....
[Before Tim can continue speaking Cable puts his hand over the mic before snatching from the hands of Bowers]
Cable: Listen here you overgrown munchken I say that this interview is over now because get it straight that there is a reason why the AoA are in the main event week in, week out. I along with the entire AoA don't give a rats ass about some jobbers wrestling to the fans who are coming in to find there seats, we are the main attraction so I don't care about AJ Stark or Roxi Johnson. Who I care about is Kuk Killswitch and the title match, Kuk you said to bring what I got, that we throw everything out the window for one night to see who can take home the gold. I say we do it and then the man who is on top of that ladder is known at the end of the night as THE x-core champion!
When I do climb that ladder after I knock you out Kuk every single rung I climb represents every single thing that I've conquered on my way to the top and when I continue to climb and climb I will reach the top where that final rung Kuk is you, because you are the greatest obstable I will have to overtake and when I do that X-Core title is in my hands!
[Cable looks back to Bowers behind him]
Cable: Now that we are done here I am going to go get ready for my match

[Cable drops the mic and shuts the door behind him as the camera fades to black]
[I walk back into the room to find the closet behind the couches still half open, I walk over there and open it to find Drake Hunter sprawled all over the place]
Cable: Well I've heard of people coming out of the closet but you bring a whole new meaning to it
Drake: Well how about you stop joking and get me the hell outta here, i got a mop up my ass!
Cable: Well what's new
[I reach out my hand to Drake who accepts it, dragging him out of the closet at the same time a mop and broom go flying half way across the room as well]
Drake: Well I'm never doing that again!
[We share a laugh before Drake dusts himself off and goes back to his couch]
Cable: hey dude you want a VB?
Drake: It's 11 in the morning!..................Sure thing.
[I smile as I reach down to the esky by the TV, I throw one at Drake and open one myself]
Cable: Well i reckon we should have a toast
Drake: Let me guess to "all the success at Ruthless Assault"
[I laugh as Drake says those last words in a sarcastic tone
Cable: Nah to stopping and popping and posting and toasting!!
Drake: Please tell me you are refering to basketball when you say that
Cable: Well it can mean a lot of things!
Drake: God your an idiot!
[Drake and I both toast as we both take a long swig at the beer]
