For to long this has been the place of my decent hasn't it? The place where Chris Cable has been for the past two weeks. Everybody has been asking me where the fuck have i been?
[From a shot which is originally pitch black the light turns on and shows Chris Cable sitting in a beach chair in some basement with a VB in hand and the single light holding from the ceiling, dangling in Cable's face]
Now you my wonder where Chris Cable has been, Chris Cable has been sleeping, sleeping, resting, rejuvenating so that he can come out and become C Double once more. But what if C Double doesn't want to play? What happens when C Double wants to make room for someone else?
[Cable looks at the light as it only covers half his face]
This has been home now, this has been the place where I have seen this light and wondered to myself if this light means something more? Before you couldn't see my face, you couldn't see where I was or what I was doing. You couldn't see if I was smiling, laughing, frowning or slowly waiting for the light to come on so that when it finally did I was ready to go out there.
[Cable smiles as he now looks at the camera, holding the light now in one hand to stop it for dangling]
I've just been told that in not to long there is going to be a match, a match at High Stakes which will see the winner getting a shot at any title he wants. The last time someone did this, they won the world title. They went into the match and came out with all the success in the world. Now it's my chance to once again put my name in the MPW record books. Time for me to put the name Chris Cable in the lights, to shine for everybody to see. For evereybody to look at and wonder when it's there turn.
[Cable starts laughing as he looks around the basement]
Finally Chris Cable has gotten the recognition he deserves. For to long they have treated me like dirt so now I am going to treat them to the same thing. I have been sitting here awaiting my chance for the next big thing and every single time my spot is taken. They look at me and decide to go with the toilet brush sitting next to me. Now this stops though and I finally do something I have been intending for a very long time.
[Cable looks at the camera again in a serious look]
I will go into High Stakes and win myself the oppurtunity to go for the one title I have been chasing for a little while now. I got my oppurtunity a couple of months ago and then I lost it, I lost the one chance I ahd to become something more than just the sidekick. So that's why when I win it will be Trey Baxter who will hand me the world heavyweight title. It will be the day I can finally say to myself that I have beaten Trey Baxter!
Since the first time we met Trey you have beaten me and beaten me and beaten me. This has been eating me up inside, given me the anger which now lives within me. When I win at High Stakes I will take that title off your shoulder and then finally tell the world that I am better than you!! Time is ticking Trey because the title is going to be with me in a very short time.
That's why Ayern Ashfield will be the person to be the example of what I am going to do in the Roll of the Dice match when I climb that ladder and retrieve the briefcase which will be in my name after I KO every single person in that match and any other person who decides to get in my way!
So when it comes down to when I step into the ring next, high stakes and when I beat Trey Baxter for the world title....it will be
